So we seemed to spend the day waiting for this dam plane. Emily spent most of the day lying on the bed resting while I spent the day worrying about getting to the airport on time. Its funny how things that dont normally matter to much really seem to get to you when you are under stress.
Got to the airport in plenty of time and had a nice coffee whle we waited. (im sure you didnt need to know that but hey)
It was the fastest ride Ive ever had to Auk in just over an hour we were on the tarmac and docking to the air bridge. A strange thing did happen while I was on the plane. The seatbelt that normally gives me an extra foot once the buckle is tightened was only giving me half that length round my tummy. My feeling is that the belts have been shortened. Mental note to make comment to Air NZ about that.
I must say Air NZ kick but and Im actually not sure why I fly another airline. Oh yeah jet star do some massive deals to auzzy. Sorry Air NZ.
Got to the Apartment and other than the recptionist that likes to speak wth no more than 4 words per sentence it is very nice.
